Open to use in the off season, Quartz Hill Station has it’s very own Private Track with panoramic views that is well maintained and is great for activities such as:
The 3000ha country station boasts 3 main tracks 3-5hrs long, as well as easier rides along the flats.
Book the use of this track under ‘Extras’ when reserving beds or contact us to book even if you are not staying.
Due to being a working station there is limited use of our farm tracks between 1st September and 20th November.
You need a permit to hunt wild animals on public conservation land in Canterbury.Your permit will cover all open hunting blocks in the Canterbury Open Hunting Area, from Hanmer in the north, south as far as Twizel, and west to the main divide.
